Machining principles

1. What type of machine tools that control the movement of cutting tool automatically by using special programs?




2. Why the understanding and reading of technical drawings is important in the machine shop?




3. What is the main function of the lathe machine?




4. High Speed Steel cutting tool is used to cut 50 mm diameter Aluminum workpiece shown below. Write the steps of calculating the correct spindle speed do this cutting on the lathe machine?

    2) because it represent surfaces, edges, and contours of a workpiece. By adding symbols, dimension lines and sizes

    3) used for producing cylindrical work pieces

    4) roughing: 388.3 r/min

    finishing: 592 r/min

    4- first we have to know the high speed steel for example aluminum or steel and then we have to calculate the roughing and finishing to produce spindle speed.
